Bom Bo Commune launches program to plant 5,000 trees

On September 21, at the Bom Bo Hamlet National Relic Site, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bom Bo Commune, Dong Nai City, launched the "Bom Bo – Golden hues of the countryside" program.

The ceremony takes place at the gate of the National Relic Site in Bom Bo Hamlet, Bom Bo Commune.

The program encourages the entire population to participate in planting, caring for, and protecting trees, contributing to positive changes in the landscape and environment; creating green, clean, and beautiful routes lined with flowers and ornamental plants; and gradually building civilized residential areas to improve the quality of the living environment.

Accordingly, Bom Bo Commune will plant 5,000 trees, primarily golden shower trees (Cassia fistula), along routes in five villages and in the area surrounding the National Relic Site in Bom Bo Hamlet. The program is being implemented simultaneously in 100% of the residential areas within the commune.

Under the motto "The people are the subjects, the Vietnam Fatherland Front acts as the bridge, mass organizations provide support, and villages directly implement the program," Bom Bo Commune focuses on caring for and maintaining the trees after planting to ensure that the routes are built in a green, clean, beautiful, civilized, and modern manner.

The launch ceremony also fostered a vibrant spirit of emulation among officials, Party members, union members, association members, and the public, contributing to the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign themed “Unity – Discipline – Efficiency – Breakthrough, building a civilized and modern Dong Nai" in the commune.
