Nguyen Thi Cat Tien elected Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai City People's Committee

The 1st People's Council of Dong Nai City for the 2026–2031 term, at its fourth thematic session on August 14, elected Nguyen Thi Cat Tien, Member of the City Party Committee (CPC), Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Xuan Loc Ward, as Vice Chairwoman of the 1st People's Committee of Dong Nai City for the 2026–2031 term.

Accordingly, with 100% of the votes cast by City People's Council deputies in favor, Nguyen Thi Cat Tien was elected Vice Chairwoman of the 1st People's Committee of Dong Nai City for the 2026–2031 term.

The City People's Council subsequently adopted a resolution confirming the election results for Nguyen Thi Cat Tien as Vice Chairwoman of the 1st City People's Committee for the 2026–2031 term.

Earlier the same morning, prior to the session, the CPC’s Standing Board held a conference to implement the decision on personnel affairs. Accordingly, the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat appointed Nguyen Thi Cat Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Xuan Loc Ward, to the Executive Board of the Dong Nai CPC for the 2025–2030 term.

Nguyen Thi Cat Tien was born in 1973 in Trieu Binh Commune, Quang Tri Province, and holds a master's degree in economics. She previously served as Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Xuan Loc District; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Xuan Loc District; Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Xuan Loc District; and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Xuan Loc Ward.
