Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Kim Long said Dong Nai is one of Vietnam's leading industrial centers. The city has 89 planned industrial parks covering more than 43,300 hectares, as well as a network of rivers and major hydropower and irrigation reservoirs. Dong Nai is set to develop into a modern industrial-service urban center and a logistics and high-tech hub for the southeastern region and the country. The city is prioritizing investment in high-tech, biotechnology, new materials and green energy projects, while developing an innovation ecosystem linked to Long Thanh International Airport, the Southeastern region's logistics network and next-generation industrial parks.

Nguyen Kim Long said Central Retail is a major retailer in Thailand, with a portfolio of leading brands offering a wide range of products through various formats, including department stores, convenience stores, specialty stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets and shopping malls. The group also operates online retail through omnichannel platforms in Thailand, Vietnam and Italy.

The Standing Vice Chairman spoke highly of the group's operations in Dong Nai, particularly its GO! shopping mall, one of the most modern shopping centers in the locality, as well as its mini-supermarket projects in Nhon Trach and other shopping mall and office projects.

Central Retail Vietnam's projects have not only contributed to the modernization and professionalization of the local retail sector but also created direct and indirect jobs for thousands of workers. They have also helped expand modern retail services in the locality while contributing to the city's socio-economic development.

Nguyen Kim Long expressed his hope that the meeting would serve not only as an opportunity for the two sides to exchange information and share development orientations but also as a platform for expanding cooperation. With a shared vision and sound strategy, the two sides can strengthen cooperation, achieve further success and create sustainable value for both parties.
