According to the Long Thanh Ward People's Committee, implementation of the section of the 25B Road Upgrade and Expansion Project passing through the ward requires the recovery of nearly 7.6 hectares of land, affecting 191 households, including one eligible for resettlement.
To date, Long Thanh Ward has completed 100% of the approval process for compensation and support plans, as well as all procedures for issuing land recovery decisions for cases within the project area. The ward has paid more than VND77 billion in compensation and support to 163 households. The remaining 28 cases have yet to receive compensation and support payments, mainly due to outstanding issues with legal documentation. The Long Thanh Ward People's Committee is assisting households in completing the necessary paperwork to facilitate payment in accordance with regulations.

Notably, through outreach, advocacy, dialogue, and the consensus of local residents, all households have agreed to hand over the site for the project. On-site inspections confirmed that the entire area set for handover had been cleared and was ready to be handed over to the project owner to commence construction.
The Long Thanh Ward People's Committee also noted that throughout the site clearance process, outreach, advocacy, and dialogue efforts helped secure the voluntary agreement of all households to hand over their land, without the need for compulsory land acquisition.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Long Thanh Ward People's Committee Pham Thi Thuy Trang said the 25B Road Upgrade and Expansion Project is a vital transportation project in the network connecting the ward with neighboring localities, particularly with Long Thanh International Airport and the new Nhon Trach urban area, while also contributing to socio-economic development across Dong Nai City and Ho Chi Minh City.
Given the project's importance, Long Thanh Ward has mobilized local resources to coordinate with the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center – Long Thanh Branch to urgently carry out land recovery, compensation, support, and resettlement for the project.
