The Provincial Road 773 upgrade and expansion project is classified as a Group A project and a Grade II transport work with a design speed of 80 km/h and a total infrastructure investment of more than VND 2.5 trillion from the city budget.

The project stretches approximately 36.6 km, passing through the localities of Xuan Hoa, Xuan Loc, Xuan Phu, Xuan Dong, Cam My, and Xuan Duong. It begins at the intersection with National Highway 1 (Km 1789+196) in Xuan Hoa Commune and ends at Huong Lo 10, where it intersects with Ring Road 4 in Xuan Duong Commune (Km 36+640). The road corridor is 60-80 m wide. In Phase 1, the existing road will be widened, and new sections will be constructed to a four-lane standard with a 27-m-wide roadbed. The project also includes the construction of Lang Minh Bridge and Suoi Ca Bridge, as well as integrated drainage, traffic safety, and lighting systems.

Speaking at the ceremony under authorization from the city leadership, Director of the Department of Construction Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed that investment in upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 773 is of great significance. The project will gradually complete the city's transport network in accordance with approved plans, improve connectivity, and shorten travel times from the aforementioned localities to Long Thanh International Airport and the Xuan Que–Song Nhan Industrial Park. It will also meet traffic and transportation needs, ease pressure on National Highway 1 and contribute to the socio-economic development of the localities along the route, in particular and the Southern key economic region as a whole.

The project is one of seven key transport projects launched by the city during the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign, demonstrating the strong political determination of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of Dong Nai City to build synchronized, modern infrastructure.

To ensure the project meets quality requirements and remains on schedule, Department of Construction Director Nguyen Anh Tuan requested that the investor, supervision consultants, and construction contractors mobilize sufficient personnel and equipment, organize construction scientifically, and ensure construction quality and safety. Relevant departments, sectors, and local authorities were asked to continue coordinating closely with the investor on site clearance, resettlement, and the relocation of technical infrastructure, while promptly addressing any difficulties or obstacles that arise to prevent them from affecting the project's overall schedule. Local authorities in the project area were also asked to conduct public outreach and encourage residents to support the project, coordinate efforts to maintain security, public order, and traffic safety in the construction area, and promptly report any emerging issues for careful and timely consideration and resolution.
