The Dong Nai Land Fund Development Center announced on June 8 that it will begin implementing compensation, support, and resettlement procedures this month for four land plots near Long Thanh International Airport, following directives from the Dong Nai City People's Committee. Covering more than 1,100ha, the plots are being prepared to create a clean land fund and facilitate the development of auction plans.

In particular, the land plots include a plot of over 610 hectares in Long Thanh ward and Binh An commune, and three other plots in Long Thanh ward with areas of approximately 329 hectares, 170 hectares, and 55 hectares, respectively.

According to the Land Fund Development Center, the accelerated implementation of land recovery, compensation, support, and site clearance for the auctions is intended to generate budget revenue in 2026 and effectively utilize strategically located land plots near Long Thanh Airport. In addition, the auction of these plots is expected to help attract investment, create space for the development of key projects, and contribute to socio-economic development.

In mid-May 2026, the City People's Council approved a resolution for four land recovery projects for land-use-rights auctions in 2026.
