Vietnamese citizens in general, and those in Dong Nai in particular, are living in a vibrant atmosphere of emulation to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. This is especially significant as Dong Nai has just received approval from the Party Central Committee for the policy of establishing Dong Nai as a centrally governed city.
A sense of trust, joy, excitement, and a determined desire to contribute effort, intellect, and dedication to the common cause are spreading widely across every agency, unit, and production line, as well as within every family and individual in the province.
This spirit is most clearly demonstrated on the construction sites of national key projects located in Dong Nai province, as well as the province's own major projects, where lights remain on through holidays and Lunar New Year. The spirit of “3 shifts, 4 crews” emulation, “working around the clock," and “fast meals, quick rest” is consistently upheld to ensure requirements for progress and construction quality are met. Meanwhile, officials, civil servants, and public employees have been overcoming personal difficulties related to geographical distance and family circumstances to continuously improve their skills, knowledge, and sense of responsibility. In doing so, they not only meet the requirements of their positions but also strive to excel in fulfilling political tasks, especially in the context of provincial merger and the implementation of a two-tier local government model that is lean, efficient and effective.
In addition, on every production line of factories in industrial zones, hundreds of thousands of workers are working enthusiastically, striving to improve productivity and product quality, and engaging in labor emulation to create material wealth, thereby contributing to further strengthening the brand of Dong Nai as an industrial province. In agriculture, the atmosphere of labor emulation is reflected in modern farmers who are not only skilled in production but also very active in learning, proactively applying science and technology, and dynamically seeking market outlets for their products, all linked to the cause of building new-style rural areas.
One of Dong Nai’s key priorities at present is to complete the dossier for submission to the Government on schedule for presentation to the 16th National Assembly at its first session, regarding the project to establish Dong Nai as a centrally governed city. Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has instructed heads of agencies and units to proactively adjust their work programs and plans, prioritize completion of the dossier, and organize work beyond regular hours and on days off when necessary. It’s necessary to assign the right person to the right task with clear responsibility, ensuring there is no delay due to administrative bottlenecks or any shifting or avoidance of responsibility. Leaders of agencies and units are required to directly oversee, inspect, and take full responsibility for all tasks within their scope of authority.
On the threshold of a new era - an era of national rise, prosperity, and happiness for the Vietnamese people - and at a moment when Dong Nai is accelerating the necessary work to become a centrally governed city, the entire Party, military, and people of Dong Nai have united and remained determined to compete for socio-economic development, contributing positively to the goal of “a peaceful, independent, democratic, wealthy, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam, firmly advancing toward socialism.”
