Dong Nai to host 12 fireworks displays for April 30 holiday

The Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on April 20 issued Plan No. 205/KH-UBND on activities marking the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975–2026) and the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890–2026).

The province will organize 12 fireworks displays on April 30. High-altitude fireworks will be displayed from 9:00 pm to 9:15 pm in Tran Bien and Binh Phuoc wards.

Low-altitude fireworks (90 racks) will also be set off from 9:00 pm to 9:15 pm in 10 newly upgraded wards, including Trang Bom, Long Thanh, Tri An, Nhon Trach, Tan Khai, Xuan Loc, Tan Phu, Loc Ninh, Dau Giay, and Dong Phu.

Funding will be mobilized by ward-level People’s Committees from socialized sources.

In addition to the fireworks, an art program will also be held on the evening of April 30 to mark the two anniversaries. Tran Bien and Binh Phuoc wards will host a live broadcast linking five locations, including the two wards, two newly established wards in northern and southern Dong Nai, and a studio of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television.

Regarding the fireworks sites organized by the provincial People's Committee, the provincial Military Command will take the lead, in coordination with the provincial Police, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Bien and Binh Phuoc wards, and relevant agencies, to implement the plan.

People’s Committees of communes and wards assigned to organize fireworks displays will coordinate with the provincial Military Command, the provincial Police, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review and propose suitable locations, ensuring safety and security requirements are met.
