On April 21, marking the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30), and the 140th International Workers’ Day (May 1), trade unions at all levels across Dong Nai province, in coordination with businesses, rolled out a series of practical activities to support workers’ livelihoods.

At Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Vien commune), the grassroots trade union presented more than 17,000 gift packages to workers. Each package included essential items such as cooking oil and sugar, helping support workers in their daily lives and helping them share their difficulties. In addition, the trade union organized sports activities to create a healthy outlet, improve workers' well-being, and strengthen solidarity among employees in the enterprise.
Similarly, the grassroots Trade Union of Dona Pacific (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh commune) presented nearly 8,000 gift packages to workers. Though modest in value, the gifts reflected the trade union’s continued care and support. Upon receiving the gifts, many workers expressed their joy and excitement, feeling a clearer sense of practical care from their representative organization.

Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company announced a holiday bonus of 300,000 VND per employee for the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30), and International Workers’ Day. The company currently employs about 2,600 workers and is recruiting a large number of employees to expand its production and business activities.
Earlier, the company honored production units and teams that excelled in fulfilling the March 2026 plan, awarding more than 980 million VND to employees. The recognition highlighted the collective effort, solidarity, and determination of the workforce. The results not only underscore strong business performance but also serve as a powerful catalyst, fostering a spirit of emulation, innovation, and breakthroughs across the company.

TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai province) also announced a holiday bonus of 300,000 VND per employee. With a workforce of around 34,000, the company, alongside its trade union, provided additional gifts including cooking oil, milk, and kitchenware gift sets.
These activities not only help improve workers’ material well-being but also serve as a source of encouragement, enabling employees to feel secure in their employment and maintain long-term attachment to businesses. They further reaffirm the role of trade unions in safeguarding and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, while contributing to building harmonious, stable, and sustainable labor relations within businesses.
