The 1st session of the 16th National Assembly is considering and voting on a resolution to establish Dong Nai as a centrally governed city.
Residents across the province expect that once this transition takes place, a range of special mechanisms and special policies will be introduced to “pave the way,” creating fresh momentum to transform Dong Nai into a dynamic, culturally rich, and well-integrated city with strong development prospects.

Upholding discipline throughout urbanization journey

In my opinion, the transition of Dong Nai to a centrally governed city will open up new development opportunities while simultaneously imposing higher requirements and responsibilities on the procuracy sector. This can be seen as a strategic shift - one that will elevate Dong Nai from a traditional industrial province into a smart, modern, and multi-polar urban hub. However, the rapid development will inevitably bring challenges, including economic and high-tech crimes, civil disputes, and complex social issues.
With the mandate to exercise prosecutorial authority and oversee judicial activities, we are focusing on strict supervision in key areas such as land management, compensation, resettlement, environmental protection, public investment, and social welfare. At the same time, we will step up efforts to combat corruption, wastefulness, and misconduct, while safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of both citizens and businesses, and proactively addressing emerging forms of crime.

Proactively removing bottlenecks, creating a push for urban development

With 34 staff members, our unit is currently handling compensation and site clearance for more than 30 projects, including several key ones. The workload is substantial, requiring high levels of coordination and focus. As Trang Bom is expected to be upgraded to ward status and Dong Nai to a centrally governed city, pressure will inevitably increase—but so too will opportunities to contribute more directly to urban development.
The unit aims to focus on removing bottlenecks and delivering tangible progress across projects; taking performance effectiveness as a benchmark for both capacity and credibility, thereby helping accelerate project timelines and support the sustainable urban growth of Dong Nai.

Enhancing residents’ quality of life
In recent years, Dong Nai has seen many positive changes, particularly in transport infrastructure, urban environment, and the living standards. In Tan Trieu ward specifically, quality of life has improved markedly, as reflected in upgraded local roads with the clean and well-maintained conditions; better-developed lighting systems and improved greenery; stable access to clean water; and more favorable conditions for agricultural production.
Looking ahead, once Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city, we expect that the provincial development will accelerate further. Most importantly, we hope to see continued attention from the authorities given to improving residents’ quality of life - not only in central areas but also across the entire province. I also hope that the Binh Hoa-Cay Duong Road will soon be expanded and upgraded to facilitate travel and boost local economy.

(Tran Bien ward):
Expecting new development opportunities

As Dong Nai moves toward becoming a centrally governed city, the company expects to seize new development opportunities in infrastructure, urban development, and logistics in the locality. On that basis, the company plans to further accelerate comprehensive digital transformation, enhance governance capacity, and modernize its distribution system to meet rising consumer demand while contributing to energy security across the locality.
Accordingly, the digital transformation at Dong Nai Petrolimex is being implemented across three core pillars - management, operations, and customer service - with data placed at the center. At the heart of this effort is the development of an integrated digital ecosystem, seamlessly connected down to each fuel station, providing a foundation for modern, transparent governance while delivering greater convenience to customers. Beyond operational efficiency and internal management, this digital transformation is expected to bring about a fundamental shift in service quality, aligning with modern consumption trends and the evolving development context of the locality.

A historic catalyst for transforming local landscape

The prospect of Dong Nai becoming a centrally governed city is not only a major historic milestone, but also a shared source of pride and excitement for people across the province. It is seen as an important “lever,” opening up new opportunities for comprehensive development in localities, including La Nga commune.
With the province’s new status, La Nga commune is expected to become an attractive destination, capable of drawing in substantial investment. The upgrade in administrative status will create more favorable conditions for businesses to access, survey, and implement large-scale projects in the area. This also represents a golden opportunity for the locality to fully tap into its existing potential and advantages, paving the way for breakthroughs in socio-economic development.
At the same time, this turning point is expected to bring visible improvements in both urban and rural landscapes in La Nga commune. Synchronized investment in infrastructure and urban landscape will enable the commune to transform more rapidly, aligning itself with the dynamic rhythm of a modern city in the future.

The 1st session of the 16th National Assembly is currently reviewing and voting on a resolution to recognize Dong Nai as a centrally governed city. A large number of residents and workers have expressed their excitement and high expectations for a new chapter in the locality’s development. Personally, I hope that authorities at all levels will introduce special mechanisms and breakthrough investment incentive policies - for both businesses and workers’ livelihoods - thereby contributing to building a stronger and more prosperous Dong Nai. I am confident that, with strategic vision and timely support policies, Dong Nai will make full use of this historic opportunity to affirm its position and develop into a dynamic, culturally distinctive, and sustainably developed city under Central Governance.
