According to Document No. 730/TDTTVN-TTTTC, the Sports Authority of Vietnam authorized the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to host the Asian Pencak Silat Championship from July 15 to 23, 2026, in Dong Nai province.

The Sports Authority of Vietnam has asked the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to report to the Provincial People’s Committee, set up a detailed organizational plan, and coordinate closely with relevant agencies and units to ensure the successful organization of the event.

Under Decision No. 37/QD-TDTTVN, the Sports Authority of Vietnam has decided to organize the 2026 Asian Pencak Silat Championship from July 15 to 23, 2026, in Dong Nai province. The Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for coordinating with relevant units to organize and run the championship in accordance with competition law and the tournament charter.

Previously, Vietnam hosted the 9th Asian Pencak Silat Championship in Ha Tinh province in July 2025, attracting nearly 400 athletes from 10 countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Laos, India, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. The Vietnamese team secured first place overall, followed by Malaysia and Indonesia.
