In his opening speech, Vu Thanh Ngu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai Province, stated that the launch ceremony for the Olympic Run Day for Public Health and National Security is a practical activity aimed at responding to the movement "All people engage in physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement " Being healthy to start a career and defend the nation"; at the same time, contributing to improving the health, physical fitness, and spirit of cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees, employees, and people in the province.

According to Colonel Tran Anh Son, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police, in addition to over 5,000 people participating in the Launch Ceremony organized by the Provincial People's Committee, over 38,000 people in communes and wards throughout the province also simultaneously responded to this run.
This is not only a purely sports activity but also a show of force of the people's heart and mind and their will to protect national security.

After the launch ceremony, over 5,000 people, including leaders of provincial departments, agencies, cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees, employees, people from all walks of life, athletes, etc., participated in a run of approximately 1.2-1.5km along the route: Starting from the Provincial Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, following Nguyen Ai Quoc Street to the traffic light intersection (Gate 2) and then returning to the starting point.
