Twenty-eight tourist areas and destinations across Dong Nai are fully prepared for the 2026 summer tourism peak season, traditionally the longest and busiest travel period of the year.
To accommodate visitors seeking sightseeing, entertainment, recreation and accommodation services, tourism operators across Dong Nai have upgraded facilities and enhanced services to maximize their capacity to serve tourists throughout the summer, particularly at major attractions such as Cat Tien National Park (NP), Bu Gia Map NP, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve; tourist areas (TAs) such as: Suoi Mo, Buu Long, Bo Cap Vang, and Son Tien.
Attractive promotions launched for visitors

To attract more visitors this summer, Dinh Thi Xuan Mai, Head of Marketing Division at Son Tien Tourist Area, said the destination has introduced a series of promotional packages. These include ticket discounts ranging from VND80,000 to VND100,000 per person for high-achieving students, with promotions running throughout the three summer months from June to August. In addition, Son Tien is offering free admission to the Amazing World theme park after 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday during the summer season, while entrance fees to both Amazing Bay and Amazing World are reduced by 50 percent after 3 p.m. on weekends.
“Through these promotional packages, we hope to attract even more visitors to experience Son Tien’s modern and unique water attractions,” Mai said.
At Buu Long Tourist Area in Tran Bien Ward, its Acting Director Nguyen Danh Thinh said the destination has also launched a summer promotional campaign featuring numerous incentives throughout the season. Children under 1.4 meters tall receive free admission, while students taller than 1.4 meters receive 50 percent discounts along with additional promotional packages for both adults and children.
Other tourism areas and destinations, including Bo Cap Vang Tourist Area, Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, Bu Gia Map National Park and the Special National Historic Site of the Headquarters of the Southern Liberation Army Command (Ta Thiet Base), have also prepared a variety of nature-based tourism experiences and outdoor activities for summer travelers.
Ensuring safety during the peak travel season
Alongside promotional and tourism stimulus programs, ensuring visitor safety and maintaining security remain top priorities not only for tourism operators but also for local authorities across the city, especially at destinations offering water-based activities where fire prevention, rescue operations and emergency response capabilities are essential. Therefore, in recent times, Dong Nai City Police have intensified awareness campaigns and training programs aimed at preventing drowning incidents while promoting safety practices for residents, tourists and tourism operators.
Nguyen Thanh Sang, Director of Bo Cap Vang Ecotourism Area in Dai Phuoc Commune, said safety remains the top priority because most recreational activities at the destination take place on rivers and waterways. “Rescue and emergency response operations have always been prioritized. Bo Cap Vang has fully complied with state regulations regarding tourist safety. In 2023, we were recognized by the Provincial Police (now Dong Nai City Police) as a secure tourism destination in terms of public security. We continue to provide regular rescue and emergency response training for staff to ensure visitors remain safe throughout their experience at Bo Cap Vang,” Sang said.
Dong Nai currently has 225 tourism accommodation facilities with more than 5,800 rooms available. Among them, 36 have been officially rated from one to five stars, including one five-star hotel, one four-star hotel, four three-star hotels, one three-star resort and sixteen two-star hotels. The city is also implementing numerous urban development, commercial and tourism projects that are expected to further enhance tourism capacity in the future.
At tourist destinations featuring water-based recreational and entertainment activities as well as forest, mountain and lake exploration experiences, operators have strengthened rescue services, emergency response systems and fire prevention measures to ensure safe travel experiences throughout the busy summer season.
Nguyen Danh Thinh, Acting Director of Buu Long Tourist Area, emphasized that visitor safety remains the top priority because the destination offers diverse activities ranging from adventure experiences to water recreation such as swimming pools and swan boat rides. “With large numbers of visitors coming every year, ensuring safety and security is always our highest priority,” Thinh said.
