Halong Bay is one of the most beautiful coastal areas of Vietnam. Tourists there have the chance to cruise around the beautiful bay. There are hundreds of boats of many sizes ready to be of service 24 hours a day. Tourists can land on an island with silver sand to swim in crystal clear water. They can even spend a night in peace on the water to gaze the stars and listen to the sounds of the waves.

In the south, Vung Tau City is well-known because it has the most beautiful beaches in the region. Besides beach tours, Vung Tau also provides tourists with sea sports.

To diversify tour products and attract more tourists, tour-makers in Halong and Vung Tau have invested in providing a new kind of tour, flying above the beaches on a helicopter. Halong was the pioneer; Vung Tau has been close behind. Tourists taking part on this tour have the same comment "very special!"

The MI-8 helicopter, made in Russia, can take 24 passengers. There is no distance between the pilots and the tourists. Two weaknesses of this type of transport are the noise and the vibration. However, there are earmuffs. As for the vibration, after taking off, this feeling goes.

Having a panoramic view over the picturesque bay of Halong is wonderful. When the sun shines, it dazzles the rocky mountains standing high in the middle of the ocean.

Seeing Vung Tau from the helicopter is also good. If you have already had chances to visit Vung Tau, you will realize that seeing the beach city from above is much more interesting. The helicopter will take you high to see the curve of the road embracing the Nghinh Phong Peak, Ki Van Peak, Long Son Islet, Da Quay, and thick green forests in Binh Chau, Xuyen Moc and so on.

If you wish to enjoy these tours, you can register at travel service companies or you can register for the service in the two cities. In Halong, each helicopter trip costs about VND1 million, while in Vung Tau the price is VND300,000 to VND1,000,000 per tourist.
