On June 21, at Son Tien Tourist Area, the Dong Nai City Labor Federation held a ceremony to honor outstanding families of workers, civil servants, and employees for the 2021–2026 period.

The conference was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28), to welcome the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term, and to respond to the special 500-day emulation campaign launched by the Dong Nai City Party Committee with the theme "Unity - Discipline - Efficiency - Breakthrough, building a civilized and modern Dong Nai."

Among the attendees were Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council; Thai Thu Xuong, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Standing Board of the Dong Nai Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai City; along with other City Party Committee members and representatives from departments, agencies, trade union officials, and businesses in the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, City Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the municipal Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and Chairman of the Dong Nai City Labor Federation Nguyen Quoc Dung emphasized that family-related activities within Trade Unions across the city have become increasingly practical, effective, and meaningful. These efforts have contributed to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations, enabling employees to work with peace of mind and remain committed to their organizations and enterprises. He noted that the achievements in developing worker and employee families were made possible through the dedication and collective efforts of trade union members and employees throughout the city.

The honored families represent thousands of families of workers, public employees, and employees that continually strive to build prosperous and happy lives. Although each family has its own unique circumstances and story, they share common values of responsibility, perseverance, mutual support, and strong family bonds. The commendation program was held not only to honor these positive values but also to promote and replicate exemplary models of Vietnamese family values in the new era among workers,public employees, and employees.

Addressing at the ceremony, Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai City People's Council congratulated the honored families and praised the creativity and initiative of trade unions at all levels in translating Party policies into meaningful movements such as “Good at Work, Responsible at Home” and “Excellent and Creative Workers,” while providing practical support for both the material and spiritual well-being of union members and workers..

She expressed hope that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai City and socio-political organizations would continue organizing the Outstanding Worker, Civil Servant, and Employee Family Recognition Program as an annual tradition. She also suggested expanding the scale of the program, increasing the number of honored families to between 100 and 200 households, making it more representative of a city the size of Dong Nai and encouraging the development of more happy and successful families. Ton Ngoc Hanh further stressed that amid rapid urbanization and deeper international integration, Dong Nai’s workforce should continue improving their professional skills, promoting values of love and responsibility, and contributing to stronger families and a more prosperous society.

On this occasion, the Dong Nai City Labor Federation honored 51 outstanding families of workers, public employees, and employees. The federation also congratulated five other families of Dong Nai city that had previously been recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour as outstanding families of workers, public employees and employees nationwide for the 2021–2026 period.
