Over 9,500 social housing units under construction in Dong Nai

According to the Director of the Department of Construction, Nguyen Anh Tuan, since the beginning of 2026, six social housing projects have been launched across the province, totaling more than 4,800 units, helping meet growing housing demand, particularly among workers and low-income residents.

Across Dong Nai, 16 social housing projects are currently under construction, totaling more than 9,500 units. Of these, 10 projects totaling more than 4,700 units were launched in previous years and are being carried over for construction in 2026.

For 2026, the Government has assigned Dong Nai the target of completing more than 8,000 social housing units, nearly double the figure recorded in 2025. Accelerating social housing development is expected to stabilize the real estate market, improve living conditions for low-income groups, and support sustainable urban development.
