Free vision screening and eyeglasses provided to 300 elderly residents

As part of a series of people-to-people exchange activities marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand (1976–2026), on April 15, the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations, in coordination with the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of Dong Nai, organized a program offering free eye examinations and eyeglasses to its members.

Under the program, 300 elderly members of 10 friendship associations under the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations received vision screenings and were fitted with eyeglasses tailored to their specific conditions. The services were provided by medical staff from Dong Nai General Hospital and Thong Nhat General Hospital.

The funding for this activity was mobilized by the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of Dong Nai province.
