This is considered an important step forward in terms of policy, creating a premise to realize the aspiration of building Dong Nai into a fast-developing, modern, and livable city in the near future. This is also of great interest and anticipation to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai.

Major Nguyen Trong Tai, Deputy Head of Bu Gia Map Commune Police: Focusing on investing in facilities to ensure security and order

To improve the quality of security and order maintenance when Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city, investment in many aspects is needed. In particular, in border areas, all levels, sectors, and local authorities need to focus on investing in facilities, infrastructure, machinery systems, vehicles, etc., to meet the requirements of work in the current period, especially during the digital transformation period and when Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city. Leaders at all levels should build and arrange a team of commanders and officers who possess the necessary qualities, capabilities, enthusiasm, dynamism, and creativity in their work. Local authorities should strengthen propaganda, raise awareness, and responsibility of local people in participating in socio-economic development associated with ensuring security and order. In addition, specific economic development orientations and plans should be made according to the characteristics of each region, associated with each sector (agriculture, industry, trade - services, tourism, etc.); taking advantage of geographical advantages and characteristics. Especially, economic development must be linked with firmly ensuring national defense and security.

Nguyen Duc Lenh, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam’s Regional Branch 2: Creating new spaces and momentum for growth

When Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city, it will create new spaces and momentum for the growth and development of credit institutions in the area, in their role as businesses operating in the banking sector. At the same time, this will also be a favorable condition for the local financial and monetary market to expand and grow, in order to meet the development requirements of a city directly under the Central Government, with advantages and development potential in terms of industry, logistics, aviation services, etc.

In the coming time, for the banking sector to promote the driving factors of socio-economic development when Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city, the banking sector in the area hopes to receive the attention and direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the effective coordination of departments and agencies in implementing mechanisms and policies on currency, credit, and banking activities in the area. In particular, the banking sector will strengthen coordination with relevant departments and agencies to effectively implement policy credit programs, credit for priority areas, credit for industrial development, logistics, services, etc., in the locality, as well as effectively implement the plan to expand non-cash payment activities in Dong Nai.

Tran Binh Trong, Senior Manager of Plus Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd.: Investing more in transportation infrastructure

I am very happy and hope that the National Assembly will consider the Draft Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai as a centrally governed city in this session. This is a great opportunity for the locality to accelerate and make strong breakthroughs in socio-economic development. I am particularly interested in the field of infrastructure, especially transportation and education. Currently, traffic pressure in industrial parks and main roads is increasing. I hope the province will promote investment in expanding key routes, developing a ring road system, strengthening inter-regional connectivity, and developing modern public transportation. Planning needs to be synchronized and have a long-term vision to limit future congestion. In addition, the rapid mechanical population growth has led to a shortage of schools and overcrowded classes in many areas. I hope the province will pay attention to planning and investing in more schools in residential areas and industrial zones; at the same time, improve the quality of facilities and focus on training high-quality human resources to meet the development requirements of a large city in the future. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on developing the city in a green, sustainable direction, improving the quality of life for residents, so that when it becomes a centrally governed city, the locality will not only develop rapidly but also develop harmoniously and be livable.

Luong Thi Thoa, a resident in Trang Dai Ward: Expectations for the early construction of a public high school in Trang Dai Ward

I was not born and grew up in Dong Nai, but my whole family has chosen Dong Nai as a place to settle down and start a career. Living in Dong Nai for many years, I find this place a livable land because it offers many favorable factors. These include its geographical location, making it very easy to travel to other provinces and cities. The economy is developing dynamically, opening up many business and trade opportunities for the people. Especially, the province also has a widespread system of schools and classes. When Dong Nai becomes a centrally governed city, what not only I but also many residents in the ward hope for is that leaders at all levels will pay more attention to planning and soon build a public high school in Trang Dai ward. Because the ward has a very large number of students, after graduating from secondary schools, they have to travel a long distance to high schools in other wards, causing difficulties in their commute. This is also one of the risks leading to traffic congestion and imposing great pressure on high schools in neighboring wards.

Hoang Van Thong, a resident in Tam Hiep Ward: Strengthening efforts for a green - clean - beautiful environment

I am very happy and excited that the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the establishment of Dong Nai as a centrally governed city will hopefully be considered and approved by the National Assembly. For Dong Nai City to develop rapidly and sustainably in the coming time, I propose Dong Nai strive for GRDP growth of over 10% per year. In addition, it is necessary to protect the environment to make it green, clean and beautiful, protect upstream forests and plant more trees in urban areas, creating shade and a peaceful living space for the people. The treatment of livestock wastewater, urban wastewater, and residential wastewater must meet national standards; waste collection and treatment must comply with regulations. At the same time, more attention should be paid to protecting urban security and order and traffic safety, and constantly improving the lives of the people.

Nguyen Thanh Duc, a resident in Bien Hoa Ward: Hoping that all people will have a prosperous and happy life

I am very happy and hopeful that with the establishment of Dong Nai as a centrally governed city, the city will make outstanding progress in all aspects, from socio-economy to national defense - security... All aim at the goal that all people will have a prosperous, happy, equitable, democratic, and civilized life. As a retired doctor, I am always concerned about taking care of people's health, especially those in difficult circumstances and vulnerable people in society. These are the groups that need special attention and support in healthcare, because they have limited access to modern medical services. In the coming time, I will continue to participate in many charity trips to provide people with free medical examinations.
