In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof., PhD Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of DNTU, emphasized that in the context of global challenges regarding climate change and energy security, promoting research and the application of emerging technologies is an urgent requirement. ICETE2-2026 is a reputable academic platform for knowledge sharing, fostering global collaboration, and advancing sustainable development.

Delegates focused on discussing and proposing practical solutions for key topics: energy generation and storage technologies, advanced materials, environmental treatment technologies, pollution control, climate change adaptation, and water resource management.

The Organizing Committee reported that this year's conference received more than 70 research papers from authors at home and abroad. Following peer review, more than 50 high-quality papers were selected for publication in the conference proceedings, and many have the potential to be published in prestigious international scientific journals. In addition to the plenary session, the conference also featured two in-depth discussion sessions on materials, emerging technologies, and advances in environmental technology.
