(ĐN) - Recently, Long Hoa pagoda in Hiep Phuoc commune, Nhon Trach district awarded 100 scholarships worth VND300,000 each to studious poor students and 200 gifts valued at VND200,000 each to local families with difficult circumstances.
The pagoda will cooperate with doctors from HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital to provide free medical check-ups and medicines to 200 poor households in the locality on September 8-9.
Earlier, the pagoda also offered 300 free meals to patients in Nhon Trach General Hospital.
