(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Women's Union carried out many humanitarian activities in 2015.
Particularly, the union spent over VND5.5 billion to build 68 charity houses for their poor members, repair 13 other houses for poor families, Vietnamese heroic mothers; present more than 3,000 scholarships to poor students, nearly 3,800 gifts and 89 bicycles to students who are children of its members.
In addition, the union has also mobilized more than VND3.6 billion to present over 29,000 gifts to disadvantaged children, poor women, elderly people, AO/dioxin victims, poor patients, etc.
