The scenario entailed the discovery of cargo ship that went up in flames and spilled oil into the sea.
During the drill, all relevant units collaborated effectively and promptly, receiving and processing the necessary information to conduct rescue operations at the accident scene, including taking people out of the water, extinguishing the fire and cleaning up the oil spill, said Vice Chairman.

The drill aims to ensure related people understand how to cope with such an incident as well as the need to coordinate with other forces to stand ready for potential disasters and minimize environmental impacts and losses.
