(ĐN)- Since early 2010, after five years implementing policies for ethnic minority people, Dinh Quan district has reduced poor household rate from 16.68% to 6.97 %.
To achieve the results, the district has devised a number of measures to take care of spiritual and material lives for ethnic minority people, including increasing investment for rural economic infrastructure; providing support in transfering techniques, loans, seedlings and breeds; creating jobs for ethnic people, etc.
As the results, many of local ethnic minority families has escaped poverty and stabilized their lives.
