The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Huynh Van Toi along with hundreds of students studying at four schools that have the training linkage between Vietnam and France.
Representatives of French-invested businesses in the province and some of Dong Nai-based France’s NGOs also attended the event.
At the event, the participants reviewed the history of Vietnam – France bilateral diplomatic ties during the past time.
Accordingly, there has been 15 French investors pouring the total US$100 million into the projects of agriculture, garment and machinery industries in Dong Nai so far.
In addition, France has also boosted education cooperation with Dong Nai and sponsored projects on education in Sonadezi College of Technology and Management, Dong Nai Vocational College, Nguyen Du primary school and Nguyen Binh Khiem junior high school.
