(ĐN)- Eight projects at seven waste treatment areas in Trang Bom, Thong Nhat and Dinh Quan districts have put into operation until the beginning of October. The projects have a total daily capacity of 890 tons of household garbage and nearly 100 tons of hazardous waste.
Dong Nai plans to invest in building two more ones in the near future, aiming to treat all waste generated in the locality.
The province will eliminate temporary rubbish dumps once all its planned waste treatment zones with plants and dumps begin operation, according to the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
