(ĐN)- The labour demand is predicted to be high in the remaining months of the year as local firms need more workers to fulfill orders by the year’s end. Accordingly, the need for non-skilled and seasonal workers has risen in Dong Nai province job market.
Recruitment demand focuses on footwear, food processing, textile and garment sectors.
However, enterprises are also having difficulties in finding suitable candidates for their production because employees will not be jumping from job to job as much as they have in the past, as they prefer to have a stable job.
In order to attract labourers, the enterprises need to offer competitive salary policies and good working conditions.
According to Director Le Thi My Phuong of the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the department is making efforts and creating favorable conditions for local enterprises to recruit suitable workers.
Presently, Dong Nai Employment Centre organizes two job transaction sessions per month.
The centre introduced jobs to around 2,000 laborers through the last transaction floor, said Director Huynh Ngoc Long of the centre.
The centre plans to organize six job transaction sessions by the end of this year to meet the increasing demand for labor.
