At the contest held in India’s Pune city last August, Lac Hong University’s LH-NVN team had excellently defeated the Japan's defending champion team in the final to triumph at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2014.
This is the university’s first championship at the contest after many times winning second and third prizes. The victory not only brings glory to the university alone but also to Dong Nai and the country as well.
Right after the university won the international championship, NHK Japan Television had sent its delegation to the university to learn about the researches and manufacture of robots in order to broadcast the report throughout the world via NHK World. This contributes to popularize the province’s sci-tech development to Japanese enterprises.
