(ĐN)- Recently, Bien Hoa city-based Quyet Thang ward People’s Committee handed over 13 charity houses for local households with housing difficulties.
These houses aim to help poor locals to stabilize their lives, overcome difficulties and gradually escape poverty, said Chairwoman Le Thi Ngoc Huong of Quyet Thang ward’s Fatherland Committee.
Over the past time, local authorities has made utmost efforts to allocate land and mobilize donations to build houses for disadvantaged families, helping them gain access to power and clean water.
These families expressed their deep thanks to the support from local authorities and ensured that their children would continue going to school.
