(ĐN)- A ceremony was recently held in Long Thanh district’s Tam An commune to honor policeman and individual in the locality for their bravery in saving their bravery after saving kid from drowning and catching drug addict.
The honorees included Nguyen Van Hien, aged 25, and Nguyen Le Minh Dang who is policeman of Tam An commune.
Earlier, on July 14, hearing a shout for help from a five-year-old kid, who took a false step and fell into the river, Hien jumped into river and rescued the kid.
On September 5, after pursuing and capturing Vo Van La, a drug addict who ran away from being brought to detoxification center, Dang was bitten through the skin by the offender.
