(ĐN)-Vedan Vietnam on September 12 cooperated with Long Thanh district’s Study Promotion Association to organize a scholarship awarding ceremony for studious poor students.
At the ceremony, the organizers presented more than 90 scholarships worth VND0.8-1 million each for primary to high school students, gave VND2 million scholarships and bicycles to 10 university students. The scholarships are funded by Vedan VN.

Annually, the Vedan VN spends over VND4 billion for social and charity activities, including VND500 million for study promotion, said Yeh Sheau Yeh, Senior Director of Vedan VN’s President Office. He added that in the coming time, the company would put more focus on helping disadvantaged students to pursue their studies and be good citizens
Recently, the company has offered 80 scholarships totaling VND40 million to disadvantaged students in Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
