(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s AO/dioxin Victims Association presented 610 gifts valued at VND500,000 each to AO victims in 11 districts, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city.
This is one of activities to mark the Day for AO/Dioxin Victims (August 10).
Since the beginning of the year, the association raised nearly VND2 billion to help the victims.
Ealier, its Long Thanh branch visited and gave more than 200 gifts each worth VND300,000 to local AO victims.
Long Thanh is now home to 142 AO victims, of whom 50 are in extremely difficult circumstances. In the coming time, the branch will continue to call for donations from social organizations and sponsors to improve material and spiritual life for AO victims in the locality.
