Accordingly, the monasteries raised nearly VND2.2 billion to build 11 charity houses for difficult households, present thousand of gifts to poor locals, provide free meals to low-income earners, establish centers for orphans and single elderly people.

On this occasion, Vien Giac pagoda in Bien Hoa city visited and presented 450 gifts totaling VND135 million to poor Vietnamese people in Cambodia.
