According to the provincial Steering Committee 1237, Dong Nai has been deploying the search and collection of the remains of martyrs promptly. So far, the board has searched, handed over more than 1,412 remains found for reburied at martyr cemeteries in both inside and outside the province.
In the first 6 months this year, 8 remains of martyrs have been found and collected in Long Khanh town, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, Nhon Trach and Cam My districts.
Colonel Nguyen Xuan Yem, who is also Deputy Head of the Central Committee’s office, hailed the province's efforts in searching and collecting remains of martyrs over the past time as well as relevant agencies for their close coordination with the board in the efforts.
He also suggested Dong Nai to accelerate the search for remains of fallen soldiers, along with petition the Central Committee of the province’s difficulties for prompt solution.
