(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Woman’s Union during the first half of the year raised more than VND2.6 billion from its saving campaign to assist over 700 poor women and children.
The union’s campaign, including money-saving models to support disadvantaged women and kids, attracted more than 14,000 members.
It is expected to help the union’s members and local women to form a habit of regular saving. Saving is an effective way to alleviate poverty.
