(ĐN)- Dinh Quan district's authorities has recently worked hard to remedy the damages of heavy rain and whirlwind which hit six communes of Phu Hoa, Phu Tan, Gia Canh, Ngoc Dinh, Thanh Song and Phu Loi on April 1.
The district People’s Committee has offered VND395 million as support to 57 affected households. Accordingly, the district provided VND6 million to each household with home completely collapsed and VND3 million to damaged houses.
Besides, the district Fatherland Front Committee donated VND235 million to build 15 new houses for poor households.
The move aims to help local people stabilise their daily life and return to production work.
