(ĐN)- Bien Hoa city’s Fatherland Front Committee organized ninth conference on April 17-18 to review its operations in 2008-2013 period and launch tasks for next term.
Over the past five years, the front and its chapters has launched campaigns in support of difficult families and policy beneficiaries. Particularly, nearly VND5 billion was raised to build 236 charity houses and repair 74 others, contributing to reduce the poor household rate to 0.53%.

Addressing the event, Vy Van Vu, Chairman of Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee, agreed to improve social supervision and censure as a core task. The city’s front should also be responsible for bolstering public trust by listening to their aspirations, he added.
The conference elected a 5-member executive committee for the 2014-2019 term. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh was re-elected Chairman of the city’s Fatherland Front.
