The information was released at a meeting held by the provincial Police Department to review the activities of the fund with the attendance of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai.
Last year, the fund provided preferential loans totaling VND5,230 million to 219 released prisoners in the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai praised some entrepreneurs and enterprises for their contributions to the fund.
He also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the fund will continue to mobilize donations from enterprises and individuals to help released prisoners develop household economy and stabilize their lives.
