Over the last five years, the association has made many efforts to help its members to overcome difficulties and stabilize life. Particularly, the association admitted hundreds of new members, bringing the number of its members to more than 1,160.
The association also provided short-term vocational training courses to 134 blind people, create jobs and offered loans totaling more than VND3.5 billion for its members.
In the next term, the association will continue efforts to improve the living standard of its members.
The congress elected a 13-member executive committee for the 2012-2017 term. Mr. Cao Nguyen Huy was re-elected Chairman of Dong Nai Blind People’s Association.
