(ĐN)- An efficient power-saving programme helped to reduce the number of power cuts in Dong Nai over the first six months.
The province saved more than 51 million kWh of electricity in first half, cutting the total usage of power by 1.38 percent in the locality. The figure represents 106% of the first-half target .
Of that amount, State agencies and offices saved over 2.2 million kWh; the public lighting sector, 4.1 million kWh; the industrial sector, more than 32 million kWh; and the household, 12 million kWh.
