Dong Nai is now home to 23 operational industrial zones (IZs) and 100% of them have concentrated waste water treatment systems, while there is no waste water treatment plant at urban areas across the province.
Dong Nai plans to build Bien Hoa waste water treatment plant which has an estimated cost of 12,664 billion with 10,764 billion coming from the Japanese ODA fund and the rest from state budget.
Due to capital difficulties, the deployment of the project is way behind schedule.
At the working session, Deputy Minister Bui cach Tuyen acknowledged the province’s difficulties in implementing the project. He also stressed that the province should co-ordinate closely with MoNRE to deploy the project quickly.
