(ĐN)- Over the first half of the year, Dong Nai War Veterans’ Association built and repaired 87 charity houses totaling more than VND1.3 billion to poor veterans.
The association also raised over VND1.8 billion from its members to provide preferential loans to difficult members.
In this period, the veterans have tried their best to help each other to develop production. Accordingly, rich members supported fertilizer, thousands of seedlings and breeding animals for poor households.
In the rest of the year, the association will continue its efforts to help poor veterans improve their lives.
