Attending the meeting was Mr. Le Hong Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department, and Mr. Huynh Van Toi, Head of Department of Propaganda and Training.
At the meeting, the provincial Women’s Union officials reviewed the patriotic solidarity and creativity of Vietnamese women in general and local women in particular over the past years. Accordingly, efforts would be continued to uphold their fine tradition of heroism, indomitable spirit, loyalty and responsibility to contribute to the provincial socio-economic development, building Dong Nai to be a modern industrial province by 2020.
On this occasion, the union launched “Helping Poor Women and Children” program of the Vietnam Women’s Union.
Similar events were also celebrated in the province’s districts and city, drawing the participation of a huge number of women.
