The honorees included Vay Coc Lam, Nguyen Van Cao, Nguyen Van Moi, Chuong Ly Va and five others. They received certificates of merit from the Dinh Quan district People’s Committee.
Five teens from hamlet 4, Phu Vinh commune were rescued on the afternoon of June 22 after being trapped in a whirlpool. Unfortunately, Chuong Ly Va died while trying to save the lives of teenagers.
