(ĐN)- Three more children died from hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in Dong Nai province last week, bringing the death toll from the disease in the province to 10, according to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Centre.

Four of the 10 dead were from Bien Hoa city.
As of June 19, a total of 1,384 cases of HFMD were reported in Dong Nai, a three-fold increase over the same period last year.
Dr. Cao Trong Nguong, Director of the Provincial Preventive Medicine Centre alarmed over increasing cases of HFMD in the province and trend in Dong Nai's HFMD outbreak. To prevent the disease spreading, local medical workers will spray chemicals to disinfect all pre-schools across Dong Nai.
