(ĐN)- As many as 188 contestants who were the winners of preliminary rounds of the children’s painting competition 2011 entitled “The colour of childhood” took part in the final round held at Phan Van Tri Park in Bien Hoa city on Sunday morning.

The 2011 painting contest under the theme of “Children alert to drugs” attracted around 6,500 entries from nine districts, Long Khanh town and the Centre for Handicapped Children in Bien Hoa city.

The event, organised by the Dong Nai Children’s House, aimed to respond to anti-drug drawing contest launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The contest is open to children under the age of 15 throughout the country. It aims to increase awareness among children about the harmful effects of drugs.
