Dong Nai’s five works win prizes at 2010 National Press Awards

(ĐN) – As many as 128 prizes will be presented to journalists at the 2010 National Press Awards. The Awards ceremony will be held in Hanoi on June 21 on the occasion of the 86th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day. The event will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television Channel 1, Hanoi Radio and Television, and Radio Voice of Vietnam Television (VOVTV). For the fifth year in a row, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) has organized the awards. The 2010 Awards attracted a record 1,321 entries from journalists throughout the country, a 30% increase over last year. The entries reflected the country’s political, cultural and socio-economic development and contributed to national construction and defence.

Two A prizes, 24 B prizes, 43 C prizes and 59 consolation prizes will be given out to a total of 128 winners. In addition, the organising board will also present certificates of merit to 33 others. Dong Nai province’s journalists are among the 128 winners at the 2010 National Press Awards. C prize goes to journalist Tuong Lam from Dong Nai Radio and Television while four consolation prizes are given to four journalists from Dong Nai Newspapers including Thanh Thuy, Ta Nguyen, Kim Loan and Kim Ngan and journalist Vu Mai from Dong Nai Radio and Television.
