(ĐN)- Bien Hoa city recently launched a mosquito control campaign. The city sprayed chemicals in 13 communes and wards where have been hit hard by the disease in order to kill the mosquitoes and mosquito larva and reduce the risk of dengue fever.

The city sprayed chemicals in 13 communes and wards where have been hit hard by the disease in order to kill the mosquitoes and mosquito larva and reduce the risk of dengue fever. In addition, the city also focus on increasing public awareness to prevent and control dengue fever.
A total of more than 300 cases with one death have been reported in Bien Hoa city since the beginning of this year. This figure represented an increase of over 60 per cent from the same period last year.
