Nearly 300 youth union members attend a seminar entitled “Confidence and fortitude”

(ĐN)- A seminar entitled “Confidence and fortitude” was held in Dong Nai on Sunday morning in response to the National Day and the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (June 26). The event, co-organised by the Provinical Youth Union, the Provincial Police Department and the provincial Steering Committee for HIV/AIDS, Drugs and Prostitution Prevention and Control, attracted the participation of around 300 youth union members in the provine who actively involved in propaganda work against drug abuse.

At the seminar, participants listened to Colonelcy Nguyen Phi Hung, Deputy Director of the Provinical Police Department talk about the drug-use situation and the illegal drug trade in the province over the past time and measures to prevent and control drug crimes and drug abuses in the coming time. The  participants also listened to former drug addicts share their experiences of the difficulties of undergoing detoxification in order to reintegrate into the community.
