Witnesses said the woman was walking along Truong Quyen street when the truck transporting building supplies to the construction site of the Dong Nai International Obstetrics Hospital struck her at a gate of the construction site.
Police said the 76-year-old woman from Bien Hoa city was pronounced dead at the scene
Police are looking for the truck driver, who left the scene after the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
