(ĐN) – A ceremony was held in Dong Nai on March 25 to launch the 13th National Week on Labour Safety and Hygiene – Fire and Explosion Prevention.
This year’s national week will focus on labour safety which in long term will bring prosperity for every household and sustainable development for businesses. It is the duties and rights of workers, businesses and the whole society to implement and ensure the labour safety, hygiene and fire prevention as well as actively contribute to the relisation of the National Target on Labour Safety and Hygiene - Fire Prevention in the 2011-2015 period.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga urged relevant agencies, localities and businesses, especially employers and employees to raise the awareness of and responsibility in the issue to minimize physical and material losses, reduce labour accidents, occupational diseases, fires and explosions.
Dong Nai will host the launch ceremony of the 2012 national workplace safety week.
